The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is excited to announce its second grant to the Seattle Animal Shelter for $67,000.

This second grant will fund several areas, including: Staff & Volunteer Trainings as well as Public Outreach Events. These programs cover training for animal cruelty investigations, pet first aid and dog and cat behavioral issues.

Grant funds will also be used for Spay and Neuter purposes, Adoption Support and Dog Houses, which are greatly needed during the Winter months to help support animal safety.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is a 501C(3) charitable organization founded in 2010 to raise funds and galvanize community support for the programs and initiatives of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

The Foundation, which is supported by private donors, has been working with the Shelter to lay the ground-work for what will be a long-term granting relationship. We are very excited that this second grant can support so many programs.
