Thanks to a grant from SASF, a team from the Seattle Animal Shelter supported Seattle’s homeless pet owners and pets at the Community Resource Exchange on March 9. Held at Century Link, the event helped the Seattle area homeless community get connected with essential hygiene items and services. The SAS team gave out a lot of pet food, bedding, leashes, collars, toys, jackets, free licenses and spay/neuter certificates. Overall, the event served 1125 people thanks to 130 service providers and more than 500 volunteers. We’re thankful to the participants who were willing to have their photos shared as this truly shares the impact your contributions made on March 9 and beyond.
